XM Solution Overview

This guide highlights the what, why, and how of XM Solution Plugins and provides links to additional relevant information.
What
The most basic version of an XM Solution is a template of a Qualtrics project (e.g. survey, dashboard, workflow, etc.). It allows you to save a project configuration so that any user could recreate it in their own account. This can be useful if you find yourself recreating similar projects many times.
Why
If you or your customers create transactional or repetitive Qualtrics projects that are very similar each time, then you can create XM Solutions to serve as templates to reduce user setup error and increase productivity.
Other benefits include:
- Speeding up go-to-market with templatized methodology programs
- Expediting implementation of complex Qualtrics projects
- Enriching the user experience with other XM Extensions
Who
While anyone can build XM Solution Plugins, Methodology experts may find the most value in this type of plugin due to the reusability of the templates they can create.
