Extension SDK Getting Started

Summary​

This guide will help you complete some required steps to help you create and maintain XM Extensions via the Qualtrics XM Extension SDK!

If you're new to developing XM Extensions, this is the right place to start!

Prerequisites​

We recommend that you read through the XM Extension SDK overview to help you better understand related concepts and functionalities.

Steps​

Step 1: Register as an XM Developer​

You must be a registered XM Developer in order to utilize the XM Extension SDK tooling to create and manage your XM Extensions and Plugins.

If you have already registered you may skip this step. Otherwise click on the Login link in the top right of your screen to begin the process.

You will review both Developer and Partner Terms and Conditions and, upon acceptance of them, an XM Developer account will be provisioned for you.

Step 2: Register as a Qualtrics Partner​

Ensure that your company has registered as an official Qualtrics Partner so that you can leverage the many XM Extension SDK benefits that it provides, such as:

  • Early access to certain features and functionality
  • Streamlined support process
  • Access to the Qualtrics Marketplace
