About the Export API

Export API is a streaming service that enables extracting individual feedback, digital interactions, and call transcripts data enriched with classification, sentiment, effort, and other metadata.

Note: We strongly recommend using the Files outbound connector instead of the Export API.

Important: To comply with Twitter's content redistribution policy, XM Discover does not export Twitter records.

Scope and Pagination

• The service is provided via secured REST endpoints that accept parameters to restrict the scope of exported data according to your needs.
• There are separate GET endpoints for exporting sentence-level and document-level results.
• You can use Export API to fetch all data from a project or just the incremental updates since the last pull.
• Project data is exported in pages. The page size is set at the ElasticSearch cluster level and cannot be adjusted at the account level.
