XM Discover API: API Overview

The XM Discover API exposes key functionality of the XM Discover solution for use in third-party applications. The API enables developers to access the sentiment and text analytics capabilities of the XM Discover engine.

Active API Services​

The following functionality is exposed through RESTful API:

Import APIImport single and multiple documents into XM Discover.

Note: We strongly recommend using XM Discover Link connector instead of the Import API.

Legacy API Services​

XM Discover supports a number of legacy API services in maintenance mode.

Here are our recommendations on using these services:

The Real-time service and Ad Hoc Upload service features are now supported through the Import API and XM Discover Link connector. If you are using either of these services, we recommend switching to the Import API or XM Discover Link connector at your earliest convenience. If you require documentation for either of these services, contact Qualtrics support.

If you are using other services such as the Model service or Dataflow service, please contact Qualtrics support to request documentation for these legacy endpoints.

If you are actively using Export API v1, please switch to using Export API v2 to ensure you are taking advantage of the latest improvements and enhancements. Contact Qualtrics support to request documentation for this legacy endpoint.
