XM Directory API Transaction Batch Limit Change
What is the change?
In an effort to ensure a reliable experience for all of our customers, Qualtrics Public API is adjusting the number of transactions that can be added when you initially create a transaction batch. This change will take effect on July 20th, 2021.
Old call: No limit
New Call: 100 transactions
POST /API/v3/directories/:directoryId/transactionbatches
If a call is made which exceeds the limit for this endpoint, the call will fail with the below error response:
{
"meta": {
"error": {
"errorCode": "CTB_0.0",
"errorMessage": "Amount of transactions that can be provided when creating a batch must be less than or equal to 100 "
},
"httpStatus": "400 - Bad Request",
"requestId": "74768340-3902-4f6d-9327-f5fdc2cdb9ec"
}
}
What actions do I need to take?
Please ensure that any code that creates a transaction batch provides less than 100 transaction IDs. Additional transactions can be added to the batch by using the Add Transaction to Batch API. If you are currently creating a batch with hundreds of transactions, you will need to provide 100 on batch creation and then add them to the batch 100 more at a time.
